Our process begins with an initial consult and commitment by the perspective client. We then gather collateral information, get client and family goals and establish a treatment plan. We review living situations, 12 step program, leisure activities and employment/school environment. We then set up phone contact, face-to-face schedules and a drug testing policy.

 

It is challenging integrating back into mainstream society. Life shows up in many ways but primarily through emotional surges, relationships, life stressors (money, bills, employment) and family responsibilities. We help navigate these matters with the client, while keeping recovery number one. The goal is to help the client gain confidence that he or she can go through anything without using a substance. It is an amazing experience for all involved, including the staff at Connections.
